the picture doesn't include a stove board. Stove pedestal is directly on brick hearth. (I think)
Perhaps it's to show the "free fireplace tool set", which I notice consists of the stand and a broom only.
Perfect for someone who only has a poker, rake, and shovel; but no place to hang them, and no broom to sweep them.
