What kind of maple is this

Yup, looks like the Canadian Flag so its sugar maple.

I am familiar with both Sugar & Silver maple , a lot around here & pretty easy to score. Silver splits nice but is more shoulder season, Sugar is more like oak & can be a bear to split, I'm used to smaller leaves so that is what threw me, I thought maybe a different maple so thank you.
 
If it's native, it should be sugar maple. The leaf of Norway maple can look real similar. I'd call yours sugar maple. Would know for sure if I saw the bark.

It is not silver or red maple. Those leaves are more lacy, more dentation.

Sugar maple splits easy for me if it seasons a year.
