What type of concrete/brick anchors are best for pellet venting support brackets

Hello

I always like to improve and find tools or materials that work better. Therefore, I tried the Tapcon but went back to the old yella. (Klein conical fasteners)

What works best for you?

Don, please tell me you're not mounting brackets to interior venting as in that picture....? Errrr. I hate those type of pellet in to class A installations...what do you have there...3" in to 4" in to 6"? Can't make em look good. Any type of plastic anchor like you are using is fine...its just holding up some pipe,. not trying to support a bridge. Tapcons work well on brick...but not in mortar.

Scott, I belive that is Selkirk DT that he has mounted there. Not Class A. Selkirk starts at 3" on stove (adapter), then into a 4" T, then the 4"/6" DT pipe.

That's right Dexter and it does need good support. I rather support it well and be safe!
You certainly have learned alot about stoves Dex! Your new install will be smokin hot! ! !

So it that the route YOU chose or are you adapting in to another opening previously made in the ceiling. This whole set up looks like an old wood stove jobber. I know it's Selkirk DT. Just cannot see why there is an offset
