I count my burn time from the time I load (hot) until the reload with the fan still runnig and enough coals for an easy relight with no kindling. My best so far is 8 hours 80 percent full on a 3cf box. What's yours???

I think my record is close to 10 hours with a 2 cu ft firebox stuffed to the gills with actually not so dry ash. I remember being surprised to wake up Sunday morning and the fan was still running. The air coming out was only slightly warm but the stove measured ~230 F as I recall.
Just last night I had 10 hours. It could have gone longer, but I needed to get going and get to work. The fan was still going, and there were lots of coals left. It probably could have gone another hour or two. I filled it up, and it took off immediately. Got it back up to 600 in about 15 minutes.

Last night I loaded my Freedom up at 10 PM, set the air control to about 1/2" from all out and the fan was still running this morning at 5:00 AM. Good for me, I never sleep any more than 6 hours anyway!
Best was 12 hours using Oak in my 2.4 cu ft insert. Still had useable heat blowing out and plenty of coals left.

here is after 12 hours
i know more wood= longer burn time. i seem to be having trouble utilizing the large fire box on my freedom because of the taper. all of my wood is between 16" and 21" so i can only load e-w. im way to busy/lazy to re-cut my splits so i can only load e-w. i have been filling the box with 6 nice size splits but its leaving a lot of unused space on the sides. I'm not sure about loading smaller splits on the sides going n-s because i dont want to have another out of control situation. any suggestions??????

Could you folks post some pics of what you consider "loaded"? Seems to be variation among members.

To me loaded means I can't get any more wood in my stove. So far that would also mean my house will be too warm. I fill it about 2/3's full and go 7-8 hours with coals and restarts by adding more wood. My old Fisher insert would go up to 16 hour and still have a fire in there. Usually I would go between 10-12 hours on a full load.
