Does anyone know why my pex tubing going into the floor would change colors. Just a little nervous.. The system is 14 years old.
Thanks

It's just the "dead" water in a closed loop system. The water gets depleated of oxygen and just turns a blackish stinky color. This will show through pex, it's nothing to be alarmed about. If it were rusty-brown then that's really bad, but blackish grey is absolutly normal.
