Winter weather forecast

Here is the winter forecast from a local tv station. It says a little bit warmer for the midwest but a little bit cooler in the far south. A little less precip for the midwest (less snow more icing) but more precip for the far south. Of course it's just their best guess on the weather.

Compared to last year we are having a heat wave. This week last year we didn't get above freezing for 5 days straight. It's been in the 60s here all week.
