Mulberry. Chart I use shows ~23K btu/cord, so around the locust/hickory/sugar maple range. Should be some good wood when dry.

It's good stuff. Just be careful using it in an open fire...it pops and throws embers.

I've seen several ratings of 25.8. A bit better than Sugar and Red Oak at 24. Doesn't seem as heavy as Shag Hickory and Locust at around 28. Move it with a poker, and you'll get a shower of sparks, like Stinkypickle said.

Sounds great all.... Will try to get all I can, I went out this morning and saw it in the rain, it was the most beautiful color I've seen since my black cherry splits that were wet from the rain...... Amazing colors.......
