i've got some logs in my pile that are identical, and i'm bringing ash home from the local mill.

ash bark can have several different looks to it depending on species, growing conditions, age etc. - you can see how different the bark is on this one log compared to those around it. enjoy that wood - once it's dry enough to burn, it will be really nice. i'm soooo excitied to get this stuff seasoned and in my stove 3 years from now when i get to these stacks. enjoy!
