Without seeing the bark I will say silver or Norway maple. Can you post pictures showing the bark?

Right on...I believe it's Silver but the bark would tell for sure.

Kind of looks like the Silver Maple that we have here but not quite....the grain certainly is some sort of Maple though, I'm sure....

soft maple for sure. red or silver, hard to say from the pictures. A picture of the bark from a more mature part of the tree would tell the tail.

Looks more like a Hard Maple to me.

It looks very norway maple to me, which is on the harder side of the maple family.

I agree - it looks like sugar maple to me too
