The smooth bark tree seen in pics #3 and #4 should be black birch, which should have provided one of the great firewood cutting scents-wintergreen. The tree in pics #5 and #6 looks like Chestnut Oak to me. Others may chime in and correct as needed. I enjoy the aroma from both, and they have a great bouquet as they season. Great score and work safe!!

My guesses are 1) red oak 2) black birch, possibly yellow birch 3) chestnut oak

This one looks like Yellow Birch to me. The bark looks extra curly a sign & it looks lighter in color too.
