I was trying to find the numbers for silver & red maple we just scrounged. The red maple was 26in dia at 4 feet from the base, the silver was about 30 in at 4 feet. Both were huge trees. The rounds were so heavy the tree guys cut them 12 inches long to make it easier to put them in the pick-up. 7 trips back and forth to move the rounds to my yard before I gave up for the day.
