Woodstock user photo gallery problem

I'm keen on viewing the owner photo galleries on the Woodstock photo gallery but that page is broken. I am having a difficult time convincing my contact at Woodstock that there is an issue with their website. He says that it works fine for him but I think he is not testing the page that I am specifying. Anyway I was hoping the fine folks here at Hearth could verify this issue so I can send this thread as proof and hopefully they will get their website working properly.


On any product detail page, lower right part of the page, there is a link "owner photo gallery"

http://www.woodstove.com/classic

That link goes to the page "owner photos" which gives a 404 error:

http://www.woodstove.com/stove-gallery/gallery/owner-photos

If you experience that 404 error on the page would you post and confirm? Thanks!

I get the same error. Those links can be accessed from the "Photo Galleries" section on the left-hand side of every page (you have to scroll down a bit). The links from the individual stove pages are, as you say, broken.

I get a 404 also. I suspect that the Woodstock employee has the pages in their cache and so would not see the error. They need to clear the cache before it will show a broken link.

Or else they have those pages in an area that is accessible only from within their network.

just use the menu options on the left side of the page near the bottom. They work.

I get that a lot from computer tech support. It's always someones else's fault.
Funny, my son works in installing wireless internet towers and he gets the same BS from his boss when there is a technical glitch. Re-boot everything, check all the wiring, spend an hour troubleshooting on top of a 300' tower, then discover the boss in his nice warm office forgot to change a setting in the software.
