My buddy offered to buy me out of the splitter we co owned so I picked one of these up. Seems pretty well built. Plus these cherry logs are pretty rough to get through even with the fiskars maul, a lot of it is knotty so doesn’t help. Splitter has been doing well with it. I’d say it’s even quicker than using the dual way split fire. Hoping to get the rest of the logs split by the end of this weekend. I think it’ll probably amount to about a cord and a half. But we will see.
