Work Done In 2026

  • Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.

We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.

We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
I did leaves today for the first time, then moved about a cord of wood to the house (stacked outside) and shop. Each got about 1/2 a face cord stacked inside.

While doing that I burned some debris and un-salvageable punky pieces in the outdoor fire pit. I also fills up a kindling bin for both with splitter slash and smalls. A bit too warm for a fire tonight, but I’m prepped for the rest of shoulder season now.
