Anyone remember this? I recall a thread like this from a long, long time ago.

My attempt at a reboot...

And yeah, there is a fire going in there! Promise.

Ahh, fun thread. This picture is from my wife not being able to sleep so I pulled the couch over. I’ll take an actual picture from where we might sit if we are in the room sitting.

side question, how hot does your light above the stove get?

I’ve never really checked. It’s about 6.5 feet from the stove top and sits forward another foot or so from the stove top. Double wall chimney pipe.

Our pups enjoy the heat as much as we do

I think I started the thread you might be referring to.
The original is here:

I am flattered you wanted to do a reboot. :)

My view from in front of the stove only varies to the extent of "who" is sitting with me, and what point of the burn we're in. At the startup point I usually get everybody on the couch with me. Sometimes, albeit rarely, my wife may even join us on the couch, although it starts to get a bit crowded, especially when "people" start pushing and kicking to make more room for theyselves... Luna, the big brown poodle ( ) is the only dedicated fan of the heat who will stay down here with me past the 1 hour mark.....
