Best Gasket material ?

So material technology seems to be moving at crazy fast pace......

i have been using liotherm (lyotherm sometimes and is a white fiberglass like material) but is there a better material that doesn’t break the bank? Maybe there’s a material that is almost as good but a bit cheaper too.....

I will be using it for the firebox and combustion blower.

I use high temp silicone gaskets on combustion motor and housings. 1/16” thick and 1/8” on convection blower mount. Its reusable unless you rip it

Awesome, thanks...I will be cutting it old school... exacto knife or utility knife after I make a cardboard template and do a dry fit thing...
That cutter sounds cool .....wish I had one of those (and the brains to use it)
