    Compare F3 to F100?

Hi everyone, I was looking to buy F3, but it seems like it is discontinued. Since the space we want to heat up is rather small, about 50-75 sq meters, I am now looking into F100 (more precisely: "F100 eco2 Long Leg Special Edition" in ivory color). Located in continental Croatia, we have a...

Jotul F3 - Attaching to Tee

I searched around the forum, but didn’t find an answer. Just bought a new to me Jotul F3 for installation into a fireplace. I’ll be venting at the back of the stove. I’m about to buy a pre-insulated 6” stainless chimney liner kit, which comes with a stainless tee. It isn’t clear to me from...

Jotul F3 CB -- big enough to heat 400 sq foot uninsulated garage?

Hello, I'm still learning about woodstoves, so thanks for your help! I just bought a used Jotul F3 CB to heat a freestanding, uninsulated 400 square foot garage that I've been using as a study. We live in Connecticut where the winters can be harsh, so I'd love to hear from some folks with...

Hi all, I recently bought this part (http://rockymountainstove.com/jotulf3cbinnerbottomcasting.aspx) to replace the broken inner bottom grate on my Jotul F 3CB stove. My question is, how to I go about swapping out the part? Do I need to remove or decontruct other parts of the stove? This is my...

    Prefab fireplace with wood stove

Hey everyone- I've read a couple of similar posts about the issue, but I still seem to get different answers from the local chimney and fireplace companies in my town. I purchased a home and currently have a Martin Industries prefab fireplace that vents up a wood framed typical prefab chimney...

Mantle requirements if stove completely in fireplace?

I have a Jotul F3 CB and took the mantle down because it was around 4 inches too low. But as I was thinking what to do with the three holes in the brick face, I realized it's completely in the fireplace. Do I have to be concerned about clearances if it's entirely in the fire place?
