    Castle Serenity stove too hot to touch

    Got the stove up and running today and noticed the sides get extremely hot. Anything longer than a quick, glancing touch will definitely cause some burns. I've had a few stoves (10+ years old) previously that were warm, at most very warm, to the touch so this is quite new to me. Anyone here...

    I'm looking for recommendations on a pellet stove for a two-car garage that has a second floor room. I'd really like to put the pellet stove on the first floor, so both spaces would be heated, but from what I'm reading on the forums, it seems the pellet heaters don't distribute heat that well...

    Connecting Castle Serenity Exhaust to 8" existing wood stove Pipe in chimney.

    Im ordering a Castle Serenity Pellet Stove which has a 3 inch exhaust pipe. My problem is the pipe that is in the chimney already is fitted to an 8 inch pipe that flows back through the chimney. My question is, how do I safely exhaust/vent my pellet stove. And am I able to even do this?
