Throw me some guesses how many cords are in here.

(broken image removed)

Depends on how long the dump body is. The sides are not very high so I will also go with 2-2.5 cords I would say 3 cords at the very most.

Crushed it...

2-2.5

If there's any money in this, I'll wager 2.75.

Is this one of those games where the closest to guessing right without going over wins it and gets it delivered to his house?

How much did they tell was in there and more importantly how did you pay?

Now it was free, I wouldn't even be asking.
I would just stack it and find out for myself.

BTW it looks like some good wood!

I think truck dump bodies are measured in "Yards" ( ie cubic yards")

but- 3x3x3x10 equals 270 cu ft

Divided by 128 cu ft = 2.11 cord plus crown on the pile means 2.2 more or less

10 ton dump!!!! the one time I'm glad pictures were not included. I believe it happened, really I do. For the love of all things holy, don't show it to me.

I see where he tried to include an image. mercifully, my computer wont load it.

3 cords

Yur math is really fuzzy !
Cubic feet is figured LxWxH. Only 3 dimensions on a box.
A loose thrown cord is about 180 cubic feet.
I'd guess that truck body at 4'Hx7.5'Wx12'L = 360 cu.ft./ 180 = 2

I recant my prior guess... I was thinking of when I was getting loads od rounds delivered in a 17' Mack tandem axle dump. I agree with around 2 cords.
