1000 yrs enough to season?

No, they need to be split and stacked for 1000 years. :)

Spruce and hemlock. Hmm... That does dry faster. Good thing it isn't red oak. That takes forever to season.
 
I also remember when they were digging a mine near Marquette, MI and they uncovered an old forest and it was amazing how far underground it was!
