1905 Herald Oak Parlor Stove..what do I need to do?

I posted about this Herald Oak 1905 coal parlor stove late last year. I picked it up off the side of the road.

It obviously needs a top, but besides that, what should I do so that it can replace the woodstove you see next to it in my garage?

if i'm not mistaken wasn't that a coal stove???????
the crank on the bottom left side looks like a shaker
