"Do you heat with wood?". Yeah.... I heat with wood!

Got half of 2017/18 wood stacked. Far right. Something for me to work on while the in laws are hear over holidays! Feels good having the "system" primed. Now I just keep my wood guy dropping every December and we'll be nice and toasty!

Those rounds look like some good stuff. What's is that with the oak? Beech?

Yep just about all oak. He thought a couple rounds of elm. Looks like good straight stuff. Should split well.

hard to tell, but are those splits directly on the ground, or is there a pallet under there?

They are for now. I'll have it split and on pallets by new year.

You don't have any snow on the ground? How warm is it?

37 today. Had snow on thanksgiving followed by mild rainy yuck.

That's Great I'm up to 2019/20 with about 50 big rounds to split. Its great to be so far ahead!
