I use lots of 8x8 mixed hardwood timbers at my job and have accumulated tons of 3' long pieces that were headed for the garbage. Most of these are red oak. I just started splitting them. Being that it is milled nominal lumber without bark, do you think it will be ready to burn next year? or maybe another year needed.
Thanks

Depends on how long it has been since milled. With all that primo free wood I'd grab a moisture meter! ;)

we use them for shoring excavations for utility work.
