We went ahead and ordered an Alderlea T6. The pipe is going in today, the stove will go in--well, it will go in when it gets here. The house doesn't have flooring yet--or drywall, for that matter. But being able to keep it warm will make the work ahead of us easier.
By the way, we got the last T6 available in our area at this time. I don't know if this is one of those industry induced fervors, or what. We're glad to be getting the stove, in any case.
