Anyone know what this is and who made it?

    I bought a cottage and this was in it. It wasn't being used as the chimney is cemented closed. It looks to be in pristine shape and very clean.

    It is an old franklin style stove. And it has really serious clearance issues. What do you want to know

    I wouldn't want to heat my house with it in the winter, but I think they are a great match for a cottage. We have an old timer in ours. Not a Franklin, but it looks nice & will heat the place if you need it to, in the shoulder seasons.

    As long as the install is proper, that is.

    Its a Franklin clone, not every efficient. Its one step away from an open fireplace.
