I'd like to know if shorter legs are available for the VC Encore or if anyone has been able to find shorter legs from another model that will work on the Encore. I've searched the VC website, the web, and these forums without luck. It looks like you could shorten the legs on an Encore by 2-3 inches without problem. I realize that I could shorten the legs myself but would rather avoid that for aesthetic reasons.
The intended use is a hearth mount in an existing masonry fireplace. I thought I was going to go with an insert but I'm considering all options.
