Having to replace the gasket on my new Jotul Oslo ashpan because it failed the dollar bill test.
Do you ever use a larger gasket than the book says? Do you pull this tight or stuff it in there or just put it in there naturally? Should I have to do this often? Can the ashpan door be adjusted or tightened in any way? Thanks for any help you can send this way.

Just lay it in there naturally, don't bunch it up or pull it tight. If it doesn't seal after new gasket check your manual or dealer for any ash pan adjustments.
