At the cap,class A pipe has that heated blue color.NORMAL?

It's from the cap down about a foot.Only on 1 side of the pipe.
 
Yep, typical. Rain will wash it off in the summer.
 
Ok thanks,just wasn't sure that much heat would be up that far.Wanted to make sure something out of the ordinary didn't go on up there.
 
Mine starts off shiny in the fall, looks kinda weird by spring, then shiny in the fall again. Don't know the chemistry of it.
 
Mine is the same way. I suspect it is the heat reflecting off the cap possibly. I think its the ss getting that heat discoloring.
