Hello i just bought my first wood stove. I bought a big buck and was wondering if i could get some tips and tricks on running the stove. And what wood burns the best. I live in alabama so gum red oak hickory is plentifull. Thanks in advance. This is a free standing insert with 16 ft of 8 inch pipe. Will these get hot enough to cook on. Fry meat and such.
