For those that burn with this unit what size logs are you cutting? We will be getting one in the spring for our new house build and we are cutting trees down at the property this weekend and wanted to k ow what length we should be making.

Ps I know the spec sheet says 23" max but I don't k ow if that's e/w or n/s.

When I had the king we did 18”. Loaded N/S

The manual states 17-18” recommended length so the 23” is probably e/w.
