We bought a house with a Blaze King model 289 and it has a 198X (I can't read the fourth number) then it says model k1 date of manufacture 9 / 8 / 83 and I'm trying to find out anything about what all the knobs and blowers and stuff how do they work and what type it is? also if there is an operating manual or something available where would I get that? Thanks for any help kind of a newbie at this, or at least it's been a lot of years! We did have it checked out by a local guy that came out and cleaned it all out and said everything looked good.

When you open the front loading door, is there a round, quarter sized button/plunger that goes in and out? Located top right hand corner.
There is a ball on a handle that goes in and out on the outside, see picture.
