I have a CDW. Stove in my basement Which has a stone foundation (Built 1884). A neighbor had to have the oak wood flooring in his home torn out.
is it safe to burn some of his flooring in my stove? I would like to burn it with my regular wood. Our do I need to worry about toxic fumes?

That depends on if the flooring was finished with anything like stain or polyurethane. Some of the VOC's in that stuff will destroy the catalyst.

Most likely the finish is going to put a lot of crap into the atmosphere. If the flooring had been sanded first to remove the finish it would have been better.
