As a background, I live in the ADKS in NY in an old lathe and plaster house, of course not insulated, 1500 sq ft 2 story broken up. I had a USSC 6039 in my house that has taken on some problems and after an auger motor and new agitator and numerous other parts, I finally decided I needed something better. As a result of my budget I went with the CAB50 and can I say WOW what a difference. I have had it for about a week and notice that even around the same temps my pellet consumption has went down significantly. I want to use my OAK but am trying to find the collar for the back of the stove or a way to make one, if anyone has any suggestions let me know, I am not sure but looks like it has some kind of backplate going in the stove from the cutout look but am completely unsure.

Thanks Dave! You guys are awesome! Will let ya know if I have any questions but as of right now am good! Went from a hard stove to an easier and easier to maintain stove. May keep the old 6039 for shop stove but that would be the extent of its use now.
I have a dumb question. Would waxing the slide inside work? I notice the pellets get stuck sometimes, as well it has what I believe is overspray. Just a thought.

Where are you noticing the suck pellets - around/in the slide, or elsewhere? Not sure what you mean by 'overspray'....
overspray from the lid where they painted it. Just the top front slide doesn't seem to let them drop all the way down, when its not full. I figured maybe some turtle wax and some scotchbrite pads before I wax.

I (Debbye) seem to recall someone on the forum mentioning using wax paper to make the sides of the hopper a bit slick. Dave's always fondling the pellets and moving them around so ours don't have much of a chance to stick. 
I tend to check it more as they sometimes need a little help when its real cold and I have it turned up. I will probably try waxing it or something when it can be shutdown for a while but won't be this winter. I heard wax paper but that trick didn't work to well. Will try scotchbrite pad and little wax or something come spring time right before I thoroughly clean it.
