Can this go into an insert?

I have an i2450 and this log looks like it would have a good burn time, is this something that can safely be burned in an insert?

Maybe, depending on the diameter, but most likely quite expensive fuel.
 
I’ve heard of those before but have never messed with one. What do they stuff it with so it “lights with one match”?

I personally would not put that in my woodstove. Most people would be willing to give you some birch if you want it though :)

Edit: To answer my own question, it says it uses a paper board fire starter. They claim you can burn it in a fireplace
