On my USSC 8500 the part manual says the room fan is 800 CFM and the quantity is two meaning when set for both room fans running it moves 1600 CFM of air. Is this right? Let me know. Thanks

Yes, I believe that is correct.

I have a 6500 that also has the 2x800CFM fans. Mine runs on one fan on low and then both fans at any setting above Pr-1.

I do know that with the design of the 8500 (and the 6500), the return intake is small and restrictive. I very common mod that is supposed to greatly increase the air output is to add an opening to the fan maintenance panel on the side of the stove. I believe you can fit a 10" round duct there.
