Hoping to get some advice on getting the hopper of my Lopi Leyden back to original finish. There are areas that there is some brownish residue on the hopper that impedes the pellets from sliding as they should. What should I use to remove that residue?

Try something simple first like orange cleaner and if that cleans it well you can use some car wax to make things slippery or really go nuts and paint with a graphite paint. Mineral spirits can get after real ugly pellet residue.

I would be more concerned with where did the residue come from....
