Coleman Catalytic Hood Heater, Need To Make A new Screen Mantle????

I have had this clamp on single large square hoods that adjusts on the dial up to 45K BTU for many years. The metal screen mantle is torn now for 4 or 5 years so it's getting a bit ragged and ready to break. Parts aren't available and it's no big deal to simply make one. I am pretty sure it's stainless but what mesh to go buy I am not sure. Is there any specs on that stuff ? I sure can't seem to find anything on the net
