What is a good compression reading for a Poulan Wild Thing?
I'm having trouble starting this unit.
It did run @ some point.
I'm planning on pulling the muffler to see how the piston looks.

Put a tsp of fuel in the plug hole (or down carb throat and pull trigger). See if saw burps or runs for 2 secs.
A good reading is 130 PSI. Won't run below 90 PSI.

Yeah, it won't run under 90 PSI...gonna be hard to start much under 110...100 for sure. 120 # would be OK, 130 is better, if it would happen to have 150 #, then it should run strong assuming everything else is OK.
