My mothers '92 country comfort bay idoor/window insert lacks a chimney liner, hence poor draft and lots of cresote. The run is a straight 18' concrete block exterior chimney. I am thinking double wall pipe and a block off plate. This is located 200 miles from me and in a rural area so i am hoping to go with the needed parts the first time (of course that would be a first).

Question: what diameter pipe and what is the pipe/stove connection ?

Moderator: please move this to woodstove forum

These are sold a lot on ebay, and include free shipping. That way your mother can call you when it arrives, and it can be waiting for you when you get there, or have it shipped to you. This one is 4" x 20', but they have 3" too, and this guy has good feedback.

As far as the size of your mothers stove exhaust, I can't help you there....
