It's pretty much a Milwaukee ad. A comparison with other options might be more useful if one is not invested in their battery system. More details on the actual saw, maintenance, etc. would have been helpful. Not knocking Milwaukee, they make good tools in general, but they are not the only option. Most of the major saw companies now have electric versions too. I have the GreenWorks commercial 82v battery system so I might consider that option.

Thanks for the correction. Your decision to move this thread was correct. I am a wood head, not a gear head. I see wood being cut I think of a wood shed only. But you were correct, this is more a "tool" topic, not a wood topic.

The good news is that there are several new options for electric saws. Some are quite good. Look for the same 'pro' features that make a gas saw a workhorse.
