The other evening it was 75 degrees. I turned on the a/c and lit the Jotul. Love this wood stove, and Daisy does, too!
I only lit a small fire, mostly pine, and it went out in 2 hours. Honestly it didn't put out that much heat.
Do I need professional help?

I have a pellet stove fire every night in the basement to take the chill off. I think it's great to have a fire for the flame. We are not that removed from cavemen who had a fire every night.

Nah, just make yourself an outside fire pit, or more fancy outside fire structure to satisfy the itch
