There is a previous post on this stove and I have a similar problem. I don’t know the name of the part but it’s the round cover that goes over the catalytic honey cone piece. I guess it’s supposed to use the smoke as fuel for more heat. Anyway this part seems to be unobtainable so here is my question. Is ok to use the stove and just leave the main damper open and never use the catalytic system. I realize that the wood will burn up much faster but the stove will still provide heat. I’m going to have the chimney swept next Tuesday and hope maybe they will have some answers. I don’t really want to replace the st
