Does anyone run these stoves today?

I like the idea of the catalytic converter since it doesn't get that cold in Texas and I can turn it down low. I like the look of the Cape Town a bit more but its got a smaller firebox so in case of emergencies when I had to run it, it would be more work... On the other hand, the Cape Town seems like it would be pretty simple to run.

Which one would be easier to run given that its my first stove that I wouldn't even burn all that often...

We think the Cape Town is an imported stove from Europe (this could be wrong). Its design is complex. And the interior panels are cast refractory material. I have not read any reviews of the stove. Its operation and durability are unknown. It looks good but I’d rather have a Pacific energy T5.

The Boxer is design is well liked, tested and robust. Can’t really go wrong with a BK if you follow install instructions. Honestly if you like the cast iron look the BK Ashford is a great stove.

I like the features of the T5 but ill have to sell my wife on the looks. She doesnt like the traditional style.

Boxer is good. PE has the Neo. Osborn has some good modern looking stoves. I’d choose the Boxer from that list.
