Hello, new user here. Been reading for a few weeks since I found out we would be buying a house with a wood stove.

The house has a Dutchwest model 2460. It is missing the thermometer and I would like to replace it. Is there a good place to purchase parts from that y’all recommend? OEM or aftermarket recommendations?

Also is this a pretty simple thing to replace?

I’ve been using it for the past 3 days but I don’t want to damage the catalyst not knowing when it’s active. Anything I can do in the meantime?

Mfg date code is 1822, any idea how old this stove is or any other info y’all know about it?

Thanks in advance for your time

Condar sells catalytic thermometers. The probe length is important.
