Earth Stove MP35/50 baffle plate

Ok, so with out boring you all, I just bought a new house (first home ever. It has oil heat, and I found out the hard way how expensive oil heat is. In my quest to save money, someone was nice enough to give me a older Earth Stove MP35/50. I have read and read, and cleaned and installed. It works wonderful so far except when cleaning I noticed the "lower baffle plate" is missing. I have no problem fabricating this my self, but rather than go on a few trial and error runs I was wondering if anyone had the dimensions for this? I have uploaded the user manual pdf for this model. Sadly, it doesn't have the dimensions either, but I thought it better to have anyway. ($10 somewhere online) Cheers, and thanks to any answers/tips on this model. Happy Holidays!!

My stove is running. But in the next day or two when i clean it, I will take the plate down and get dimensions for you.

That would be great. If you could, please take a couple snapshots? Thank you so much. This is my first pellet stove, so I'm not 100% on what the design would look like.... I mean, from an efficiency standpoint. I imagine a flat plate.... Thank you so much and Happy Holidays to you and yours.

The only thing i forgot to get was how thick the plate was. If i had to take a good guess i wanna say 1/8in Stove is back up and running. If tyou want during next cleaning i can get the thickness for you.

Dont worry about it. I was happy to help. If you need any more info about the stove let me know. I just replaced both blower motors on mine. Boy what a difference it made. Good luck with it.

Well, I really appreciate it! Do you have any documentation on how to disassemble it? I mean, I have the pdf that I uploaded, but I'm looking for more of a service manual? I doubt they did that kind of thing back then, but I know it would help to take it apart and clean/service it from the back. I'm sure it wouldn't take me long to figure out, but why re-invent the wheel if you don't have to? Thanks.

The only thing i got is the same manual you have. I just took everything apart , that came apart and clean it. I notice that hole. I have no idea what it could be for. But im sure the drilled it for a reason. lol

I'm going to pull it out this weekend after making the plate and disassemble everything. I had the back cover off before I installed it, but didn't really take it apart; just made sure it was working.

I assume the hole is to help remove the plate if it were to get "gunked" up enough to not slide so easy. You can probably use something to pry forward, and have it slide out.
