First real test with this thing last night. It was down to 26 degrees overnight. Loaded it up around 10:30 had the blower set low, air opened just a crack. Woke at 5:30 and still at 300 degrees and plenty of coals. This thing keeps my 2500 Sq. Ft. two story house warm as can be. Puts my old Dutchwest free stander to shame, as well as the quadrafire castile pellet that I replaced with the kodiak. Easy to lean and to use. Love this stove. With the problems some people have with there inserts at much more cost I feel that doing my homework has paid off.
