Hi all!
We currently have a Harman Advanced I which we love when it's not having an issue of some sort. It's pretty old and I am hoping to get a new stove this year while also changing up the look of our living room. I would like to do a more traditional looking stacked stone fireplace with a mantle with a pellet stove in it. Our current stove is on a hearth with a vent out the side of the house in the corner.
Any ideas on the best way to achieve this look given that we do not have a fireplace? Do we just build a fireplace and put an insert in? Can an insert be vented using our existing vent location rather than a chimney? Sorry if these are utterly stupid questions but i'm tired of googling. :) thank you for your help!

First Welcome to the forum
There have been other here who have built a fire place
and have put an insert in it . Just keep a close eye on
clearances to combustibles .
As to the vent I have no idea but would think it is possible
