We had our first fire on Saturday. Mid 50's and raining. House was 63. Few loads and the house was 72. Must admit that it felt nice. I was itching to get one going.

I spent the weekend cleaning the firewood processing area and sweeping both chimneys. Finished sweeping the chimneys around 7:00 pm, just in time for a nice seasoning fire for the Clydesdale in the living room. Really felt good having the nice warm air coming from the Clyde. It was in the mid 40's last night. Clyde #2 made the house really comfy!
