That takes all the fun out of it! What would I do the rest of the year? :)

velvetfoot: No, there's no access from the ends. I do have about a foot of air space between the stacks. I'm sitting on clay soil, so I need the stacks running along the ends to keep everything from falling over. But when I stack the wood it's usually more than a year old and generally has dried out at some point. So once it goes into the barn, it pretty quickly becomes nice, dry wood.

Sorry Warren, no fedora. If the rest of the winter goes like it has over the past week, I may be able to ski up to the top of that pile before it's all over. That would make a nice pic.
