Looks like a fun day.

I can relate, about 30 years ago we were camping at a no keep lake campground that was supposed to have some nice bass. We fished two days and caught nothing but pickerel. The second night we took the canoe out around 11oclock and there were fish jumping everywhere, bats swooping down and some ducks that we were chasing around when a bass about 2lbs jumped into our boat between my and my wife who was in the middle of the canoe. Well she almost jumped out she was so startled. I almost died laughing.

Needless to say we ate him. And yes there was alcohol involved.

Nice to hear from you Gamma! I can also see that by the looks of the fire in the pic, it was not tended by you!

Hey Gamma, maybe the first pic doesn't count, but that is a Crappie. A nice eat'in size to boot. Pan fish (your crappie and blue gill) is pretty darn tasty eating. Much better than the bass. I am a catch/release bass fisherman. Don't like the taste of them.

Oh, by the way, you suck (meaning that I want to go fishing.;em)

Camping at a no keep lake

...Probably means eating is against the rules!!;)

;em
Bad for JoeyD, but I think Gamma should have eat'in those suckers.

Technically it was a catch and release lake, we didn't catch it  ;em. Seriously though that is the only fresh water fish that I didn't throw back, ever. I was young and impaired. _g

Nice to see and hear from you again, Gamma. Was wondering where you've been. And like Jags said, that is one nice crappie, good eats for sure. Looks like you are a natural there!
